Design/Building and relocate firehouse and two make-ready facility buildings, including site development of 5.3 acres. The firehouse included drive-in apparatus bays, Support spaces, a kitchen, and a sitting area. The second floor included toilet and locker rooms, an exercise room, and a noise and vibration-isolated floating slab sleeping facility. We worked with the DC Department of Energy to install a series of solar panels across both the roof structure of the firehouse and make ready reserve buildings to generate free electricity for the district residence.
